New Year's Eve celebrations held in Quang Ngai city and Duc Pho town

On the evening of January 28, a New Year's Eve celebration was held at a park in Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai city.

The event included an art program and fireworks display to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, with the theme "Tet is homeland."

Notable attendees included high-ranking officials: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan and leaders of Quang Ngai city.

Chairman of Quang Ngai City People’s Committee Tra Thanh Danh delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, highlighting the successes and challenges of 2024.

He praised the determination and efforts of the Party Committee, government, citizens, and businesses for contributing to the growth of Quang Ngai city.

The economy has improved, living standards have risen, and cultural and social achievements have been significant.

Various activities have been organized, including sports events and support for policy beneficiaries.

Healthcare and national defense have also been priorities.

Entering the New Year, Quang Ngai City will strive to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development of Quang Ngai City in particular and of the province in general.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cao Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien and leaders of departments also attended the Spring Welcome Program of At Ty 2025 in Duc Pho town.
