Chairman of Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, chaired a meeting to review the progress of equitization of Quảng Ngãi Investment, Construction, and Service Company Limited (QISC).
At the meeting, QISC suggested that the province should request the Prime Minister to postpone the company's equitization in 2025, allowing more time for the government to finalize regulations on public asset management for industrial infrastructure enterprises like QISC.
Chairman Giang assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant agencies and QISC to draft a report to the Prime Minister, proposing a deferral of the equitization process to the 2026–2030 period to resolve outstanding challenges.
