On July 30, Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng inspected the progress of two key projects: the Provincial General Hospital Upgrade Project and the Infrastructure Development Project for the Bình Long Resettlement Area and Cemetery Relocation serving projects in the Bình Thanh Industrial, Urban and Service Area.

During a working visit to the Provincial General Hospital, Nguyễn Công Hoàng stressed that the project plays a vital role in improving healthcare services and directed the investor to accelerate construction to ensure completion and commissioning by October 2026. He also required strict supervision of construction quality while minimizing disruptions to hospital operations and patient care.
The hospital upgrade is part of a broader healthcare infrastructure improvement program with a total investment of approximately VNĐ151 billion. Construction has reached about 70 per cent completion, while medical equipment has already been delivered and put into operation.
Inspecting the Bình Long Resettlement Area project, the Vice Chairman instructed relevant agencies to expedite land acquisition and site clearance while accelerating construction on available sites. He set a target of completing compensation procedures for the remaining land and preparing at least 100 resettlement plots by the end of 2026 to meet relocation demands for projects in the Bình Thanh Industrial, Urban and Service Area.

The project, with a total investment of VNĐ232 billion, covers the construction of the 14.6-hectare Bình Long Resettlement Area and Phase II of the Phượng Hoàng Public Cemetery, spanning nearly 5 hectares. To date, around 6 hectares of cleared land have been handed over for construction, while compensation plans for the remaining areas are being finalized.
