On August 19, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm inspected the implementation of the Infrastructure Investment Project to create a clean land fund combined with erosion prevention along the northern bank of Trà Khúc River in Tịnh Khê Commune.

The project has a total investment of VNĐ180 billion, with the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. It includes a 2.2-km embankment and more than 12 hectares of clean land, which is expected to be auctioned for land-use rights, generating about VNĐ300 billion in State budget revenue.
The embankment has been completed and put into operation. Compensation and site clearance have reached 98.8 per cent of the planned area, with the remaining area being expedited by relevant agencies and local authorities.
Following the inspection, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm asked relevant agencies and local authorities to urgently complete the remaining compensation and site clearance work, finalize land recovery and land-use purpose conversion procedures, and hand over the entire clean land fund to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
Relevant departments and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center were also tasked with preparing the auction plan, determining and approving the starting price, and organizing the land-use rights auction to select investors.
