Updating foreign affairs knowledge and skills for civil servants and foreign affairs officers

On September 19, the Quang ngai Department of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Foreign Affairs Unit (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to update knowledge and skills on foreign affairs for local foreign affairs officials and civil servants in the North Central and Central Coast regions. Vice Chairman of the PPC Võ Phiên attended the event.

Speaking at the program, the PPC’s Vice Chairman Võ Phiên emphasized that foreign affairs activities contribute to promoting and improving the efficiency and quality of foreign affairs and international integration in the locality in particular and the development of the country's diplomacy in general.

Phien expressed his hope that the presenters at the class will provide information to the delegates about new regulations of the State and international organizations relating to foreign affairs activities.

Within 1.5 days, the class will deliver topics on cultural diplomacy, Vietnam - Laos relations and some recommendations on local cooperation, international and local cooperation.

Besides, delegates listen to topics on the Halal market: Promoting international cooperation to develop Vietnam's Halal industry, some Halal standards and certifications for localities and businesses to effectively participate in the global Halal market.
