On April 26, the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs and the Management Board of Dung Quất Economic Zone and Quảng Ngãi Industrial Parks to launch the ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025.

This year's Workers’ Month, with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in the new era," is an opportunity to honor the value of labor and arouse the creative spirit and responsibility of workers in the construction of the country.
The Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene was launched with the theme " Strengthening assessment and identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace” to emphasize the policy of the Party, the State and the determination of the entire political system in protecting the health, life and interests of workers, respect for human rights and citizens.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Trần Hoàng Tuấn said that ensuring safety and health for workers isalways a top priority. A safe and healthy working environment not only helps protect the health of workers but also arouses the enthusiastic and creative working spirit of each person.
The PPC’s Vice Chairman hoped that workers and laborers would continue to promote their intelligence, initiatives, and creativity, contributing to the completion of the goals and tasks of the agency and unit.
Tuấn suggested that enterprises pay attention to investing in developing human resources as they are pioneering forces, directly involved in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

On this occasion, the PPC’s Chairman awarded Certificates of Merit to eight enterprises with outstanding achievements in implementing occupational safety and hygiene in 2024. The Provincial Federation of Labor presented 90 gifts to workers and laborers.
